French families living in the Netherlands can benefit from financial support for schooling in the form of means-tested bursaries. These are designed to help ensure that all children have access to French education abroad.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for a school bursary, your child must:

  • Be of French nationality

  • Live in the Netherlands with their family (parent(s) or legal guardian)

  • Be at least 3 years old in the calendar year of school entry

  • Be registered with the French Consulate General in Amsterdam

  • Attend a school recognised by the French Ministry of National Education, including:

    • Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh (The Hague and Amsterdam)

    • European School of Bergen

    • International French School of Amsterdam

How to Apply

Applications are examined by the Consular Council for School Bursaries (CCB). You can submit your application:

Important Dates

The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, 23 February 2026. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

Les familles françaises résidant aux Pays-Bas peuvent bénéficier d’une aide financière sous forme de bourses scolaires. Ces bourses, attribuées selon les ressources, ont pour objectif de permettre à tous les enfants d’accéder à l’enseignement français à l’étranger.

Qui peut faire une demande ?

Pour être éligible à une bourse scolaire, votre enfant doit :

  • Être de nationalité française

  • Résider aux Pays-Bas avec sa famille (parent(s) ou tuteur légal)

  • Avoir au moins 3 ans dans l’année civile de la rentrée scolaire

  • Être inscrit au Consulat Général de France à Amsterdam

  • Fréquenter un établissement agréé par le Ministère français de l’Education nationale, notamment :

    • Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh (La Haye et Amsterdam)

    • École Européenne de Bergen

    • International French School d'Amsterdam

Comment déposer une demande

Les demandes sont examinées par le Conseil consulaire des Bourses Scolaires (CCB). Vous pouvez déposer votre dossier :

Dates importantes

La date limite de dépôt des demandes est le lundi 23 février 2026. Les dossiers reçus après cette date ne pourront pas être pris en compte.
