School scholarships 2026–2027: practical information

(En français ci-dessous)

In order to enable families to access French education abroad, the French authorities have established a financial aid scheme for French pupils enrolled in accredited schools. School scholarships are awarded based on families’ income and assets.

The second session of the Conseil consulaire des bourses scolaires (CCB2) will examine applications from families who have recently moved to the Netherlands, since the deadline for submitting applications for the first CCB session.

Who can apply?

To apply for a school scholarship, your children must:

  • be French citizens;
  • reside in the Netherlands with their family (father and/or mother, or legal guardian);
  • be at least 3 years old during the calendar year of the school year;
  • be registered with the Consulate General of France in Amsterdam;

----

  • être de nationalité française ;

  • résider aux Pays-Bas avec leur famille (père et/ou mère, ou représentant légal) ;

  • être âgés d’au moins 3 ans au cours de l’année civile de l’année scolaire concernée ;

  • être inscrits auprès du Consulat général de France à Amsterdam ;

  • ne plus être inscrits auprès de la CAF en France ;
