Parent's association

International French School has a thriving Parent's Association (Association de Parents d’Élèves, or APE) which plays an important role in representing and supporting parents while fostering collaboration between families and the school.The APE organises events throughout the year, including the much-loved winter and summer fêtes and parent coffee mornings which provide an opportunity for parents to get to know each other in a relaxed setting.  

Parent representatives

Each class at IFS has two parent representatives, who act as liaison between families and teaching staff. We believe this role is very important in maintaining a close connection between home and school. Parent representatives:

  • Strengthen the dialogue between the school and families
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of school life
  • Participate in decision-making processes concerning the school
  • Represent the collective interests of pupils and parents
