A word from the principal

Dear members of the school community,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I have taken up my post as Principal of the International French School Amsterdam at the start of the 2024 school year. Enriched by different experiences in the management of international schools in North America and Asia, I am honoured to join an educational environment recognised for its academic excellence and its openness to the world.

The school's membership of the Globeducate network gives us invaluable opportunities for exchanges, collaboration and development on a global scale. Students benefit from privileged access to a wide range of international programmes, mobility and cross-disciplinary projects, helping them to prepare for the challenges of the twenty-first century. What's more, the school's accreditation as a partner of the AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Etranger - Agency for French Education Abroad) at all levels, from Nursery to Lycée, is a further guarantee of the quality of its teaching and teaching methods. This accreditation guarantees pupils a curriculum that complies with the programmes and requirements of the French national education system.

I also have a strong, committed team at my side, backed up by Laura Mallevialle, as Principal Education Advisor, and Sophie Rannou, as Head of Primary.
